The Rotary Foundation

Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.

The Rotary Clubs of Capital City, Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Calgary Centennial spearheaded a global initiative focused on the 3D printing of prosthetics in Sri Lanka. In collaboration with 15 clubs worldwide, they successfully fundraised to offer transformative assistance to Sri Lankan children needing prosthetics. By supplying CFINS with essential equipment and training, they have empowered the organization to provide ongoing support both presently and in the future.

Google.org

Since 2005, Google.org has worked to extend the reach of nonprofit innovators and connect them with a unique blend of support that includes funding, tools, and volunteers from around Google. These innovators are the believers-turned-doers who have made the biggest impact on the communities they represent, and whose work has the potential to produce meaningful change that can scale. Though each nonprofit’s project poses a fresh challenge, we ask the same question every time: “How can we bring the best of Google to power their work and accelerate their progress?”
